I had the very great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Claire and Jonny Naylor at the beautiful Lumley Castle, Durham, Tyne and Wear.
Jonny and Claire booked their wedding with me before the covid pandemic struck and were among the many couples who had to delay their wedding. This did not dampen their day and it would be fair to say a great deal of fun, laughter and love was shared on this day. As their chosen Durham Wedding Photographer was great as Lumley Castle is a beautiful venue for a wedding and with its many splendid features we made the most of a walk around the grounds capturing many great pictures in the different areas.
A few words from the bride and groom..........
"When people say things happen for a reason and we look back at our story so far the words seem so relevant.
We met back in August 2003 when we were just 13 years old, at the age of 19 we became more than friends. Unfortunately for then but fortunately for now it didn't work out.
Again, things happen for a reason, and we wouldn't change a thing as we may not be where we are today. We have just had the most amazing wedding day with our nearest and dearest. We have a beautiful home and an amazing little boy and just celebrated our 10-year (non-wedding) anniversary. We have Soo many memories together already and we can't wait to make a million more.......
......Tom has been amazing with all the date changing due to covid and he was fantastic at capturing all the memories from our amazing day, was always a professional, an upfront type of guy and communication was spot on through-out. Would honestly recommend him to anyone for any photography needs!"
The day just got better, and the fun continued long in to the night, being a wedding photographer is such an honour and privilege.
