As an award winning wedding photographer from Newcastle Upon Tyne I have been lucky enough to photograph several weddings at the magnificent venue Grand Hotel, Tynemouth. I am also honoured and proud to be a recommended wedding photographer for the Grand Hotel, Tynemouth. Located on the renowned and famous Long Sands sea front and with so many spectacular North East iconic landmarks on the door step, this really is one of the best places to hold your wedding day celebrations.
From the moment you start your wedding day preparations Grand Hotel never fails to create the wow factor. With large airy rooms and views looking out over the romantic coast line every detail is taken care of by the warm friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure your day runs smoothly and as planned. So why not take a few minutes out to sit by the window and enjoy the view with a glass of bubbly!
Perhaps the selling point for me as a wedding photographer is the awesome staircase. This light airy grand sweeping showcase is one of the best backdrops for so many photographic opportunities. From the brides slow and exciting walk from her room to the ceremony and the many different moods created throughout the day as the light changes with the setting sun. As your wedding photographer I will capture images of your nervous and exciting walk to the ceremony through to some exciting, creative, romantic and fun pictures later in the day. Words alone cannot do justice to how photogenic the staircase at The Grand Hotel really is, so here are a few images from Tom Hibberd Photography.
Throughout The Grand Hotel Tynemouth each room seems almost bespoke for hosting a wedding. Spacious but cosy and friendly, weddings in the summer or winter are equally catered for and unlike some venues even on the wettest and coldest of days there are plenty of settings for capturing the mood of your day, before we go outside though let's have a look at what some of the rooms look like.
Outside though waits a host of beautiful iconic landmarks, long golden sandy beaches and every setting possible to excite any wedding photographer and his wedding party, from The Priory to Long Sands to the nearby St Mary's Lighthouse and even just the enchanting sunset on a romantic open beach.
The Grand Hotel Tynemouth just keeps giving though and into the evening celebrations the basement bar and dance floor just entice your guests to keep on enjoying themselves and party the night away. Oh and don't forget the balcony area for those fun sparkler celebrations too.
