Coronavirus Was Never Going to Stop This Wedding!

Updated: Jan 14, 2021

Coral and Craig booked their wedding with me in August 2018. Their planned day was to be 1st May 2020, but alas, the first wave of the coronavirus put a stop to that. Coral then made alternative arrangements booking the date of 6th November 2020. Things changed over the months and the guest list was reduced to 30 because of CV19 guidelines and then further restrictions reduced it to 15. Undeterred Coral pressed on with the arrangements determined to be married this year! We met on 16th October in a cold car park to ensure we complied with the then guidelines and made all the final arrangements......or so we thought........ with just 4 days to go the guidelines changed yet again and the country was about to embark on another full lock down starting on the day of the planned wedding 6th November 2020. Could this get anymore difficult? Coral, once again, set about making her wedding day happen. At short notice all the vendors managed to agree to the 4th November 2020 and all fingers were crossed for no more changes! Clear masks were the order of the day and helped to make the photographs a bit more personal.

All that was left now was to have fun and get married!!! Grand Hotel, Tynemouth is one of my favourite venues with so many great photographic vistas. The day went as planned and the weather was just perfect. Bridal preparations included the customary early morning fizz and lots of laughter.

Throughout the day we were entertained by wedding pianist Ray, creating the perfect atmosphere with a wide variety of appropriate music. The day slowly unfolded and the love and laughter that Craig and Coral share became so clear to see as the tears of joy erupted and the laughter didn't stop!!
